Overview: Admin can quickly create banner announcements that will be pinned to the top of a group chat.
- Begin in your Admin portal.
- Navigate to “Messages” using the icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- An announcement will create a banner which pins to the top of the chat.
- Once in the group of your choice, click the “+” button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- First, add a title for your announcement.
- Then, add the body text. Here, you can include text and even link to important information.
- You can also add a link.
- To do this, highlight the text you wish to link.
- Click the hyperlink button and paste your link.
- Then click "Save".
- Select the date and time you want your announcement to expire.
- When finished, click “publish announcement”
- Your student-athletes will be notified of the announcement on their phone and will be reminded by the announcement each time they open their Spry group chat.
