Overview: As a Coach, you can schedule messages to send at a later date/time. This is a great tool to inform your student-athletes about upcoming events or share important team reminders.
Schedule messages from desktop
Learn how to schedule messages to your team. You can schedule messages to individuals, small groups, or your entire team.
1. Navigate to Spry Messaging using the messaging icon on the left side of the screen. You can do this by selecting the button.
2. Start in your Active Messages tab.
4. Select a chat where you'd like to create your message. This guide will teach you how to create a new message or group chat.
5. In the group message you've selected, type the message you wish to send.
6. To schedule the message, click the up arrow on the right side of the message box.

7. Then, select a time to schedule your message. You can choose from one of the pre-generated times OR you can select a custom date and time.
8. If you choose "Custom Time", a new window will appear in which you can select your desired date and time.
View, Edit, or Delete Scheduled Messages
After scheduling a message, you can review, edit, or delete that message in your Scheduled Messages tab.
1. Start in your Scheduled Messages tab. Here, you will see a complete list of any message that has been scheduled.
2. For each scheduled message, you have various options:
- Send Now
- Reschedule
- Edit Message
- Delete Message
3. To "Send Now", select the button. This will send your message immediately.
4. To "Reschedule Message", select the button. This will prompt you to select a new date/time to send your message.
5. To "Edit Message", select the button. This will allow you to make any necessary revisions to the message.
6. To "Delete Message", select the button. This will allow permanently delete the message and cancel the send.
Schedule messages on mobile
Learn how to schedule messages from the Spry mobile app.
1. Open the Spry mobile app on your phone.
2. Open the side menu and select "Messaging".
2. Type your message.
3. Press and hold the button.
4. Then, select a time to schedule your message. You can choose from one of the pre-generated times OR you can select a custom date and time.
5. If you choose "Custom Time", a new window will appear in which you can select your desired date and time.
6. Once your time has been selected, press "Schedule Message".
